Been a long time
Pretending I’m strong
Behind the smiles
Is a world crumbling.
So lost without you…
crappy doodles and sloppy notes
Been a long time
Pretending I’m strong
Behind the smiles
Is a world crumbling.
So lost without you…
Vague is Tuesday.
In the city, it’s oblivion I see-
Outburst of cheers against rage and revolt
Lobbying SHE-supporters in thousands
Entrenched in hatred and sorrow.
Now is the time to accept and respect
Call of the people goes to the orange guy
Everyone should just give the HE a chance.
Woke up to a dim warm day
with the sun in shade of gray
and the skies so frail
worse than any other weekday.
Some went with her,
while more with him.
What’s the use
when both make me confused?
While somewhere far east,
the dictator’s family throws a feast
as the wax body is laid to rest
in a place for heroes no less.
Today I woke to a brand new day,
where there’s no room to play
as my heart sobs in dismay
and people fall to a beastly prey.
How can I ignore (when)
Out in the streets,
Many remain without a home?
Each tent
Lives a man
Encaved in hope (that)
Someday he’ll make it and
Survive.
A big domed spaceship I see
Neatly seated on earth with glee.
All lit up and ready to get go
High up to the bird’s nest.
Encased beauty to welcome guests
In this city made of joy at its best
Merrily the home of Mickey Mouse and his quest.
Do you feel my pains?
Do you see the tears?
The hurts never stop
Not a minute of the day.
I am miserable without you
Finding myself crying
In total darkness
Calling out your name.
I am lost without you
Walking with no strength
Stripped off any confidence
You once instilled in me.
I am tearful each time
Thoughts of you cross my mind
For there is a million and one
Of happy memories.
Can I call you?
Can you talk to me?
Will you listen
To my questions?
Do you want me to forget?
To move forward?
Do you want me to smile
A father’s love for his kid
Becomes priceless
The moment life begins
And ends never.
A father’s heart feels all-
Your joys. Your fears.
He knows your secrets
Trying to give you hints.
A father’s touch will always be
Your comfort. Your peace.
He knows you love him
Even if words are unspoken.
A father’s choice to be your Dad
Will forever be engraved in your heart.
His smile. His smell. His frown.
His love for you is undying.
A father like mine,
Jolly and loving yet
Strong and reasonable,
Will always be a blessing.
He hates not a thing about you.
He dares not risk his fortune…
The fortune of having you as his child.
He calls his kid his treasure.
A father is an inspiration.
And that’s what matters most.
He is in your heart
Day and night. Rain or shine
The skies are brighter today
With the rich rays from the sun
As soldiers march in unison
To pay honor to a man I call Dad.
My Dad.
My hero.
My strength.
You are loved by all.
Even in the sickest hour
You put a smle on your face
Without a word spoken,
You spelled out joy and peace.
Now that you are gone
They have this 21-gun salute
To honor and bid adieu
To the man I call my Dad.
