A big domed spaceship I see
Neatly seated on earth with glee.
All lit up and ready to get go
High up to the bird’s nest.
Encased beauty to welcome guests
In this city made of joy at its best
Merrily the home of Mickey Mouse and his quest.
crappy doodles and sloppy notes
A big domed spaceship I see
Neatly seated on earth with glee.
All lit up and ready to get go
High up to the bird’s nest.
Encased beauty to welcome guests
In this city made of joy at its best
Merrily the home of Mickey Mouse and his quest.
“Hello, Baby Doll!”
Out in the open they greet
Moans in between their yellow teeth.
Each time I walk to work,
“Lady love,” they yell and smirk.
Endearing but I got no time to play.
“Sweetheart,” they say.
So goes my day.
Weak as a bird;
Escaping my predator,
Anticipating capture then death,
Knowing the time has come.
How do I begin to smile?
Up against the wall without style
Roars of despair beyond repair
Tantrums thrown up in the air.

tell me
how
to have courage
in silence
to fight
my enemy
we call fear

I feel.. I hear… I see…
Droplets of cold water from the sky
On a cold breezy autumn morn
Tickling my short curly hair
As I drive by two rows of wet palm trees.
Lost Angels, I call my city.
As people walk fast, hoodies put on,
Greeting each other, “Cold morning to you.”
I bow my head from the house to the car
My hands shaking opening the door…
Seldom does it rain this side of the city
But this morning is just full of His glory.
Cold Morning to you!

With the sun behind thick clouds,
Green grass left wet
And windows blindly fogged.
The day gets better
With the sky clearing up
As jackets left unbuttoned
And sleeves rolled up.
The night gets colder-
Brain freezing cold!
Once more, my hands get numb
As my lazy feet rest.
Frozen tears,
Ice-cold heart–
Autumn breeze
Keeps me at no ease.
