Knightless Days Ahead

Is your heart as dark as the night?

Lurking and poisoning my mind,

with words so magically entwined

but deep inside, you’re just unkind.

Have you weakened my might?

Piercing, melting my frail heart

with kisses thrown so apart,

faults and flaws you have to impart.

You made this world so blight!

Removing all that made it bright.

You are in no way a knight

but just a creep so uptight!

What a wonderful poem, Rainefairy! I love your use of the literary devices: Alliteration, Assonance, and Consonance within the piece, creating a sing-song effect, in-rhymes, and a great flow to this piece. Excellent!
