Sing Me A Song

mcarthur4

I came because the song that

I had kept in my heart

is now waiting for you.

The song that when sung alone

loses its rhythm and essence.

I came because the gnawing loneliness

cannot be denied, cannot be ignored.

Unless the song is sung in tune,

and the change is well understood,

and only when silence is evoked,

until you come to me again.
